Depart for parking lot 9 at 8pm and arrive at 8:30pm.

The Hike
Mt. Hollywood Hiking Trail to the summit of Mt. Hollywood.

Length
1½ miles (3 miles roundtrip). Easy.

Cost
FREE. All ages welcome.

Refreshments
Please bring your own food and beverage for our mountaintop picnic.

6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Please meet in the north end of the Griffith Observatory parking lot near the Charlie Turner Trailhead at 6:00 p.m. for the gentle mile and a half walk up to the greatest natural landscape in the City of Angels, Mt. Hollywood, 1625 feet above sea level.

Arrangements will be made for those who need special transportation. Shuttles will run every 20 minutes till 7:00 p.m.

Enjoy a beautiful sunset, and refreshments from around the world!
